The Institute of Psychosocial Development (I.Ψ.A.) is an NGO founded in the City of Larisa (Region of Thessaly) since 2001 by a group of experienced scientists and research associates active in various development fields with vulnerable social groups.

Since 2005, according to Ministerial Decision P2g / 134 675/04, Ι.Ψ.Α., has joined the National and Prefectural Register of Social Care Institutions of Private Sector and the Non-profit in the Special Register of Voluntary Non Governmental Organizations.

The president and legal representative of the organization who has the general supervision of the Institute, is Prof. Athena Marouda – Chatjoulis, PhD., Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Group Analyst, Member, Trainer Analyst and Supervisor of the Hellenic Association of Analytic Group & Family Psychotherapy.

The aim of the organization’s founders is the promotion of psychological development of individuals and groups through:

a)Prevention, treatment and counseling

b)Training  of specific vulnerable groups in research and clinical level

c)Promotion of volunteering program

Aim of the Institute is the promotion of psychosocial development of individuals and groups, through a wide range of psychological assessments, therapeutic and counseling services. Ι.Ψ.Α. provides services to adults, families & couples, children & adolescents on individual and/ or group context:
